CBC blood test shows what infection ? - can blood tests show infections

Can a blood test CBC show which type of bacterial infection do I have?
Have antibiotics for 10 days and the infection was not to be disappearing.
Therefore, only CBC blood test.

No A CBC will tell you what type of white blood cells into circulation during infection but not exactly what you're infected. In general, an increase of granulocytes has a bacterial infection, while an increase in lymphocytes, suggesting a viral infection, but that's all.

The CBC (complete blood count) shows that you have an infection, but can not know what. You need a blood test as a "culture and sensitivity (C & S) to the type species of the infection and to determine which antibiotic is sensitive. You're probably not the appropriate antibiotics.
